Dynafit is for people who live mountain sports. From casual touring to the serious mountaineer - just like Northern Lights - Dyanfit is committed to providing the best skiing and mountaineering products. Northern Lights carries the best selection of Dynafit in Bozeman. In fact, Northern Lights is the only shop in the Northern Rockies that carries the Dyanfit Test Center distinction. The Stoke is the perfect backcountry ski for any condition. Beafy yet light, the Stoke is engineered with sidewall construction and a bit of rocker in the shovel to produce a ski that will excel in powder and still have enough strength to blast through the steep crud. The bamboo and beech core and Dynafit insert system highlight this ski's Canadian flair. This ski will get you down first descents quickly and confidently.
The Dynafit TLT Vertical is the standard in lightweight touring bindings. The patented mechanical four-point link between binding and boot, along with the intricate torsion-bridge between toe and heel, provides a previously unknown degree of force distribution to the ski. This is the binding you want when weight and speed matter. And you can feel comfortable knowing that these bindings have been to the roof of the world and back.
If you're serious about ski mountaineering, you've got to try the TLT5 boot from Dynafit. This is the best option for tours with difficult climbing both on ice and rock, thanks to its short rockered sole and perfect crampon compatibility. The additional Downhill Booster tongue makes it extremely supportive during even the most technical and steep descents, while the racing-derived Ultra-Lock system allows for incredible cuff rotation and uphill agility with a super fast, single-motion transition from walk to ski mode. Designed for a wider range of users, the Mountain version features a Pebax cuff for a great combination of lightness and downhill performance. The rear spoiler provides an adjustable forward lean angle.
Northern Lights is the only place in Bozeman, indeed in the entire Northern Rocky Mountain region, to earn the distinction of being a Dynafit Test Center. What does this mean? It means that Northern Lights is committed to bringing you the complete Dynafit experience, from demos to sales to service. Choose from the ideal Montana touring setup to rockin powder skis. Our Dynafit Touring Center has everything you'd need for a backcountry expedition: skis, bindings, boots and skins for men and women.
And, as always, at Northern Lights we have our "try it free" program in which you can test up to three different skis and deduct your 3-day demo fees from the retail purchase price. Click here for a list of demo and rental prices.

Dynafit is my binding of choice for the mountains of Montana. I spend about half my time riding lifts and half in the backcountry. But, honestly, it doesn't matter where I am. My Dynafit TLT's have enough power to drive my skis through Big Sky wind-blow crud or variable backcountry snow. And the uphill has never been easier. Less energy going up means more fun, and safer, turns downhill. Loren and I nabbed a rare first descent in the Beartooths a couple years ago. He'd been turned back several times, but we kept things light this time and nailed it. 11 hours car to car. I'd highly recommend these bindings to anyone who is interested in lightening their setup or getting into the backcountry.
