Miura Climbing Shoe Review by Beth Rodden

La Sportiva Staff Review

La Sportiva is my choice of footwear for everything mountainous. As an ambassador for La Sportiva, I get to try out most of the equipment in the gym and around the mountains and cliffs of the world. After wearing the same pair of long underwear for a month straight I may leave something to be desired, but my footwear doesn't. From the Himalayas to Alaska to the warmth of Indian Creek and Zion, La Sportiva has been there for me. My personal favorite rock climbing shoe is the Miura. It edges like a machine yet is delicate like a slipper. When the temperature drops and it's time to head to Hyalite canyon for some ice climbing my go-to boot is the Batura Evo. Warm enough for Montana's frigid winters, yet technical enough to climb anything in Hyalite. La Sportiva simply makes footwear that lasts, works, and fits.
