Design

Smartwool socks are designed for active feet. A performance fit, lightweight cushioning, and a flat-knit toe seam are meant to keep your feet comfortable and allow you to stay out longer; run that extra mile, ski another tram lap, or chase the kids back from the neighborhood park.

Materials

Smartwool uses the finest Merino wool from New Zealand. Merino leads the way when it comes to moisture management, breathability, and odor resistance.

Care

A lot of folks are scared to wash their Smartwool products. This can lead to some stinky results! Here are some tips on caring for your Smartwool so that it lasts a long time. SmartWool socks are machine washable with cool or warm water. Tumble dry on low. To lengthen the life of your socks, it's best to turn them inside out before throwing them in the washing machine. NTS baselayer may be machine-washed with cool or warm water. Tumble dry on low. Please follow the care instructions on the garmet tag for all other Smartwool products. And stay away from fabric softeners and bleach. We also recommend washing merino with other merino, as it tends to preserve the appearance of merino longer.

Smartwool Staff Review

Five years ago I decided to try out smartwool socks after getting terrible blisters while skinning up Mount Blackmore. I was hooked from the start, now I have 7 pairs of smartwool ski socks and countless other pairs for trail running, backpacking, and working. Knowing that I don't have to worry about my feet lets me focus on other things-like having a great time in the backcountry.
